My TNB peeps! Is anyone else dying to see a T&T wedding pic by now...
Here’s the weekly tea hehehe
FAV CLEAN PRODUCT THIS WEEK: Still going off of the food vibes from last week...
-
Dr. Bronner's organic hand sanitizer: I don't love the idea of using hand sanitizer all the time because it can mess with your microbiome. It's killing good & bad bacteria on your hands. BUT, sometimes life is gross and it's nice to have on hand.
-
Toups and Co Beef Tallow Unscented: if baby's got eczema or you have dry patches, this is butttterrrrrr. Use sparingly!
-
La Coochie organic cotton undies: This one is a S/O from Michelle, she loves this brand.
-
Registry link: Branch Basics offers a lot of free resources in terms of their fav non-toxic recs. If you're needing clean products around the house (like blankets, dishware, kettles, and more...) check this link out!
WHAT WE'RE UP TO THIS WEEK:
-
-
We're nailing down our different offering packages to meet women with different goals and price points. We'll keep you updated with what we come up with!
-
WHAT WE'RE CHATTIN' ABOUT IN OUR GROUPCHAT:
-
-
Brain tumors and the BC connection: Michelle and I were texting about this report. There was a huge study done in Denmark, with over 3 million women included over a 25-year period and it showed that 8 of the 12 contraception methods studied showed a significant association with brain tumors. The most frustrating part is that women are put on this as teenagers, not knowing our options or that our body is designed in a certain way, and it's used as the blanket solution to everything (acne, cramps, sex, etc).
-
Unexplained infertility: I follow this girl on instagram, and she talks a lot about how she was labeled with 'unexplained infertility' and how so many women have been labeled with the same thing. When, in reality, there are often multiple different conditions that could be hiding under that label. She ended up seeing a NaPro doctor. One of the biggest reasons I love teaching our course is because we can't advocate for ourselves if we are not informed. Learning about your cycle and also different hormonal conditions can help you advocate for yourself and get the support you may need.
-
If you've never heard of what a Napro provider is, they are skilled providers who understand the fertility awareness methods and specifically work with women and reproductive health. They aim to treat the underlying root cause of issues like infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, abnormal bleeding, postpartum depression, and much more. They even perform special surgeries for issues like endometriosis and PCOS. They do telehealth, too! If you want the link to learn more about NaPro providers, just send us an email and I can send you some information.
-
And, if anyone happens to be Denver located, check out Bella Wellness. They take a similar mindset approach to seeking out the root cause.
