Let's talk about your kitchen, girls!
Oct 06, 2026
Hey ladies! It's meesh this week! Last week, Melanie chatted all about the products in her shower, so I thought it'd be fun to share the healthier-for-you kitchen products I love to reduce toxin exposure.
FAV CLEAN PRODUCT THIS WEEK:
-
My fav products this week feature non-toxic or lower-tox products in my kitchen!

-
The products:
-
Pyrex glass storage containers to avoid plastic leeching into food
-
Natural fiber dish scrubbers. I love the branch basics one but recently bought some more affordable replacements off of amazon. Did ya know most sponges are plastic?!
-
Attitude Baby Dish Soap - for all the baby bottles & adult dishes!
-
Stainless steel pots & pans and blender
-
Stasher bags made of silicone to help the environment by using less one-time use ziplock bags and to avoid plastic once again.
-
- Why is this so important?
- A lot of kitchen products are made of plastic that contain forever chemicals which are endocrine disrupters which can cause a whole slew of issues beyond just harming fertility. CNN just published this article about the harmful effects of plastics last week.
WHAT WE'RE UP TO THIS WEEK:
- We're back on socials!! And we are doing a tempdrop giveaway this week! Check out our reel today to enter!
- We had the BEST time reuniting this weekend (here's a selfie!). We presented to ~60 sorority gals at Depaul and had so much fun. Mel & I wish we had more information about our bodies way earlier in life, so we were thrilled to be able to bring some helpful cycle information to the college girlies!
WHAT WE'RE CHATTIN' ABOUT IN OUR GROUPCHAT:
-
I've been reading so much about how the ingredients in our menstrual products can actually make cramping and PMS symptoms worse. Think icky, pesticide-filled tampons vs. organic pure cotton tampons. These products & the ingredients are in our most vulnerable area with a direct line to our blood stream.... just something to think about
-
Aviva Romm has a great blog talking about this topic here!
- When it comes to choosing menstraul products, I am personally very much in the camp of avoiding tampons all together (or saving tampons for pool days) because they're inserted into our most vulnerable area. If you're open to pads, I would recommend choosing ones that have an organic cotton top layer. I have yet to find 100% cotton pad and a lot of the times they have to use other ingredients to actually get the product to absorb, so it's still not perfect!
-
That's all for this week! We love y'all!
Xoxo,
M&M
