I am FINALLY watching The Plastic Detox. I'm just starting so I'm nowhere near the end of it yet!
-
Thankfully, we did get rid of most of the plastic in our house years ago. Definitely in terms of our kitchen usage, we're plastic free.
-
I'm curious... is there any product that you're finding it hard to replace and get away from plastic? are we all using glass tupperware these days??

I recently got this question, and figured I'd answer here too:
-

For ~12 years, I had insaneeee migraines. Like, needed to take a prescription 8x a month for them (no rly, 8x). Me and hubs had been on a journey for a bit of slowly making things 'cleaner' in our environment. But, I did this 28-day hormone reset from Aviva Romm (1000000/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!) and it changed the way I thought about food and what we had in the pantry. Over the course of 1 month, we committed to all organic produce, switched to glass tupperware and got the plastics out of the kitchen, and any food we bought had to be whole food ingredients on the labels. This was in 2022. The month before my cleanse was *the last time* I ever took a prescription pill for my migraines again. Now, this is just my story and obviously is super individualized. I'm not saying this will happen to you. BUT, I just wanted to share my experience because I believe the food swaps and product swaps we made made a real difference in my health!

Here are two slides from our On-Demand course. I love them because I feel like they portray in a really tangible way how we think about eating and ensuring the food we eat nourishes us. To me, and the way that I think about food is: It's not about ditching the cheeseburger. It's about taking an extra second at the grocery store to flip the label over and take a peak and see what's really inside the food I'm buying.
